In more than 25 instances, advised potential and actual buyers of companies, primarily in the staffing space, on valuation, strategic match assessment and post purchase integration and operational considerations.

In more than 20 instances, advised potential and actual sellers of companies, primarily in the staffing space, on market valuation, value enhancement, preparing their company for sale and business transition planning.

Engaged by a major Washington DC law firm as an expert witness/adviser during the discovery and deposition phase of $74,000,000 litigation involving a staffing company. Researched and wrote an expert report that was the primary factor in the favorable settlement of the case.

Engaged by a major Los Angeles law firm as an expert witness/adviser in support of the successful resolution of litigation involving profit distribution and allocation of business sale proceeds among the owners of a staffing company.

Engaged by a privately held San Diego staffing firm and their legal counsel in the successful defense against a lawsuit alleging improper staff hiring practices.

Consulted with a staffing company owner and legal counsel on the successful preparation of defense against a lawsuit alleging tortious conduct.

Advised the owners of two staffing companies on valuation, ownership allocation and other matters related to the successful merger of their companies.

Served as a coach and mentor to staffing and other services company owners and managers.

Successfully integrated purchased businesses into the acquiring company's operations.

Over a 7-year period, mentored an entrepreneur through the complete life cycle of his business, from organization through startup, successful operation and ultimate sale.

Advised a company on the establishment of a temporary help service to augment their successful core business.

Generated strategic business plans, marketing strategy and market positioning plans.

Performed acquisition target evaluation and operational analysis.

Provided post-acquisition change management, organizational reorientation and integration, including "best practice" assessment and application.

Advised a business owner on the market valuation of his company and development of value enhancement/improvement strategies.

As a consultant and member of the Executive Staff, served a major West Coast staffing and professional services company for over 3 years as Senior Vice President of Operations in the establishment of IT/IS and Engineering practices throughout the West, and in integration of purchased companies in Southern California in both Finance & Accounting and IT/IS disciplines. During this time, held full responsibility for P&L performance.
